This charitable Pro-Am event where Professional Anglers, Co-anglers and Celebrities from the NFL, Major League Baseball and coaches is an annual fishing event that also raises money for the Pro Bass Challenge Foundation to help various charities, this year the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank will be the beneficary. McCarty wins Co-Angler Title

This popular catch and release fishing tournament which crowns a champion in the Professional Angler Division and in the Co-Angler Division that put's current and former NFL football players , Major League Baseball Players, as Co-Anglers, as well as amateurs from our area which is open to anyone over 18 years of age and in good standing with the Pro Bass Challenge, while paired with local and national Professional Anglers, Live weigh-in's will be conducted at Academy Sports + Outdoors on Siegen Lane.

This year the Pro Bass Challenge will be an open event, no invites necessary. . The Champion in the Pro-Angler Division will be fishing for $10,000.00 guaranteed to winner. The Top Co-Angler will be fishing for $2000.00, plus other generious prizes from our sponsors. Academy Sports + Outdoors Siegen Lane , will be the site of the daily weigh-in filmed live Saturday and Sunday for both local and national media groups. The excitement of professional bass fishing being brought into over 1 million homes per day is enough to keep anyone's focus.

Also the top 10 Pro-Anglers and Co-Anglers will qualify f or the Pro Bass Challenge Shootout, that will have a winner take all attitude with top prize money for the Pro-Angler a t$2000.00 and the Co-Angler $750.00, the shootout will be held the last week in October.
